Browning serial numbers

Can any of you guys "run" a Browning Serial number to tell be what gun it is?

I can't tell if I came across a Frankenstien or a manufactured gun.

look on the Browning website they have a year by serial number section on there.

yes they do.....but you only get the year......now what model it is supposed to be
