That's just like the whooping cranes they found shot. People shoot just to kill these animals for no reason. It's really a shame.

Someone shot a black bear in SE Louisiana the other day.

this is what i mean for what just to shoot it. My 11yr old shot a killdee with his bb gun at his moms house last year and i chewed his *** out up one side and down the other. If he would of done that at my house i would have made him clean it and eat it, cause i've raised him to be a better sportsman than that and respect mother nature.

He must be a pretty good shot, them things have some unusual flight patterns.

Not to say this is any worse than any of the others posted here, but this right here is why there won't ever be a limit on bears in Louisiana. You have to have 2 viable subpopulations, and the one in SE LA is never going to be viable because people are constantly shooting them.

It's a shame what people do these days, and most of the time in the name of "sport", or because they don't like them.

What's the point in shooting a manatee anyway? Not like its a pest. Must have taken their hunting spot.
