Tuesday Evening Slam!

A gloomy evening to fish as it threatened to rain but never did. I usually don't run many double trips but since we got in so early on the morning trip it was an easy day. I fished with Mr Jules Broussard and his friend Al and these 2 old timers (as they call themselves) put a hurt on the trout. Didn't leave his camp until 3:15 and the fish were waiting for us. Jules and Al live and die by the cork and the Shiney Hineys worked their magic as it took less than 2 hours to fill the box. The new 1/4 oz. jighead on the SH is a much improved hook and gets the job done! I caught my fish on a bunker swimbait reeling slow along the bottom. The fish are 'on', not only in Decade but good reports are coming in from Falgout Canal itself. Thanks Mr Jules and we'll do it again before christmas! Good luck fishing.
