Default Big Lake with a rookie Saturday

Friend called early last week to come down fishing. Mid-week called and said his little brother wanted to come too, said that is fine, then same friend has a last minute thing come up and can't go but little brother still wants to go since he has never been saltwater fishing. Got to Big Lake and looked like it was going to rain and the wind was whipping. Made one drift in Turner's and said to heck with that. Only a Haynie could take those waves Went into the marsh and caught some reds and then fished a southern bank to get out the wind. Picked away at the trout and had a good time. He is now hooked and I like fishing with him more than his older, fatter brother because he does not argue as much and my boat gets better gas mileage. 1/8 oz YM and purple/gold sand eels
