There is a spot right outside of Monroe that is just a slough full of duckweed 10 yards from the highway that is chock full of gadwalls from October until mid-March. They never leave there and they are there every single year. They have everything they need there

Not sure what this has to do with anything though

It happened again this morning i wish i had permision to hunt the field they're headed to it's amazing the flight of birds here at the chenault airport.

I can now see why they were all heading north.. Thats a lot of weather coming from the gulf

No, its on HWY 15. The ditch on the right as you head south. It is loaded up year after year daylight til dark, they have no reason to leave. Not even sure that you could legally hunt them since they are so close to the road.
