I went minimalist, just need to get from A to B. And if I need to pull Africa closer to us, I'm ready. I took the restrictor plate off last week.

I got the 4.6 and that baby burns some petro.

Ive had rough times in my driving career, but the ford pulls through..

When I say rims, Im not talking coon rims. And guys, I'm still young and in shape. That means the ladies like a nice truck to sling a lil mud.

Oh yeah, at 16-17 yrs., a nice rig can pull some "stuff!" That known, your first ride looks damn good as it sits. You go much higher and they'll think you're compensating for another dept that you're short on!

I used to have a 4.6 and everyone complimented on the way it would pull a boat out of a steep launch....Truck was a little mule but MPG sucked but I didn't care. I liked that truck.

Until my son totaled it for me....been 3 years and it still pisses me off!!

The 4.6 can pull. I give it that. I enjoy that truck.

My jeep really surprised me with what I can pull. Little thing is rated for towing over 5000lbs and does it well. Ordering some tires this week. Going larger but nothing too aggressive as I am traveling a lot. I already added exhaust, chip, and a small lift. Next is roof basket, front light bar, cb setup and VHF setup, and some other knick knacks. Here is a picture hooked up to our 22' baja. Boat ways a ton and pulls and stops it well.
