It has numerous film mode settings, if it is set to film 1080 wide then it will make things look farther.This setting is factory default I believe, probably should have hidden and called better...
I have a hunt scheduled for Friday morning, I will upload some rough footage then an edited movie to some music... Hopefully we get some birds, not liking the blue bird skies they are forecasting!
