@ Dink, I did that but I think I did it with the truck in park. I'll check again in the morning.
@ bay_slayer, it is translucent red maybe a very slight brown in it and does not smell burnt. Fluid was changed @ 60,000 miles and now has 107,000. @ southern151, I saw no metal in it at all. The torque converter seems likely to me also now that y'all mentioned it.
