Yes, get one and you'll never own another breed.
Todd Pavy breeds a good line, he is in carencro. I've had two brilliant dogs from him, one male and one female. Smart, easy to train, loyal, camoed out from the factory, fast, agile, love to swim, love kids and being with family, live a very long time, short coat for hot summer, retrieve just as well as any other....
