Default Heading out of venice

going to head out of venice first week of march, any help locating yft would be awesome any reports helpfull, how far is blue water, bait situation, which direction is current pulling muddy water. thanks guys

Buy at least 100lbs of pogies to chum with. Try to catch some Bonita or Kings to chunk with

depends on which way the wind is blowing... Feb-march is prime time for the lump. any dome that rises up from the deep like that on the edge of the shelf has the potential to hold tuna. here is a link to satellite imagery that you can zoom in on and look at the past few days and check for water clarity. http://ge.ssec.wisc.edu/modis-today/

thanx meaux, just hope the weather is ok now. once all the plans are made we are stuck with whatever the sea throws at us !!

I think you guys will be fine.........

make sure, if indeed headed the lump.......you have the anchor rope you will need. When the bite is on there, those guys get pissed if you bust thier chum line.
