Prospect Bridge in Houma To Open Today
The contractor is being fined $5,500 a day till its opened to the public.

So it's opened until the new parts get here? And then closed for a week while they install? Jeez, I hope so...

Supposed to be open to vehicular traffic for the next 7 weeks till the replacemant parts come in then close for a week (which could be 2 months the way these assclowns work) then re-open for good after that. In may it will be a year behind schedule.
They built the I-10 bridge in Slidell faster than they built this bridge.
