Its managed for waterfowl, not bass. All it is, is a duck hole that happens to have bass.

That's fine. But keeping the water level down during the summer is doing nothing for the ducks. When it gets hot the vegetation over grows the whole marsh and where are the ducks supposed to land when they get here in the winter? Raise the water level in February and drop it in September. Raise the water level in the hot months and it will keep the vegetation down. That would do great for the ducks.

Only problem I see with this statement is it makes way to much "cents"

Supposedly would kill or not let the "right" stuff for ducks grow if they did.

It does seem that there would be a "happy medium" somewhere in there.

Who decides on what the water level will be in the impound??

Is the depth issue with the perimeter canals, trails, or the marsh ponds ???

I didnt think it was a mud motor only sitution ?
