One time we were coming back in at hog island gully from duck hunting in sabine and when i pulled the boat up i misjudged the water on the side and i took a leap off the boat thinking the water was shallow and splash my feet never touched. I did that duck hunting the marsh last year.....little bit of water, thought I could jump over it to the land on the other side.......it wasnt land. Stuck in the mud up to my waist!!! And I mean stuck!!!!
