to do eyes get a 1/4 " dowel and a 1/2 " dowel . Use the flat end of the dowel dipped in paint to put the eye on the bait. let it dry then you use the smaller dowel to put the center dot in the eye. Or use the smaller dowel and a toothpick.

Do you mean to do that like when the bait doesn't have eyes already built on it? or to paint the eye use the dowel?
