Default Good Friday pond fishing

Went to our friend's house for the annual good Friday crawfish boil. Slipped out to the saltwater pond behind the house to hammer some nice flounder. Managed about 6 nice sized ones and a rat red with 9 spots in just over an hour or so. Flounder caught on tsunami swim shad reeled just above the bottom and some gulp shrimp. All released to get bigger.

Lol you know a kid's first instinct when a fish starts flopping is to step on it.

A saltwater fish pond? I have been wanting to install a pond on my property, just do not want the hassle of the millions of little bream to take care of. I was told by a few people that this was not possible. Could you give details of how this setup works? Is it similar to a saltwater pool?

It has a small ditch that feeds through a covert to the ICW. It is tidal.

I stayed at that camp ground before.....the wind was blowing 25 mph that weekend and we caught more fish out of the pond than in the lake. Caught some nice trout on topwater in there. This was 3-4 years ago.
