Default Devils river 3/7

Extremely late report. I have been putting together all the footage from this trip. I didnt realize just how much work goes into compiling footage and doing just a little editing. now im finally done/giving up
Me, my brother, my cousin, and a cousin in law made a 3 day/ 4 night 39 mile trip down the Devils river early last month. Trip was amazing. Pretty difficult due to low water levels and near freezing temps at night but worth every second.I ended up breaking falcon bucoo rods and loosing one go pro camera when i flipped on a small rapid. The fishing started out tough but got better as we learned how to fish the river and how the fish wanted it. We caught several smallmouth and largemouth over 3 lbs. biggest smallie going 3 1/2 lbs and biggest largemouth just over 4lbs. I will be doing this trip at least once a year from now on! The video is in 2 parts, and hats off to the guys on here you post quality videos bc i now know how much work it is and mine still needs work.

2 better fish catches are toward the end of part 2

Awesome trip!! Growing up in west Ar we fished streams and small rivers a lot. Totally different type of fishing but extremely fun. I've had snakes in an intertube w me. Not fun!

We camped out On Amistad the first day and fished a little, but the wind was blowing 30 mph. I caught 4 12-14 inchers

dont you work with Dan Felice? Me and him fished Amistad 5 yrs ago and he lost a crank bait in 20ft+ of water that looked like you could reach over and grab.... you can sight fish in 15ft+ water. We stayed 4 days and would limit in just a few hrs then start culling and playing with fish.
