You can get an extension online. It's x amount of $ for a 3 year and x amount for a 5 year. Go pick it up when it comes in. That's what some guys that work with me did. Even if you have an appointment to pick it up you may very well be there for a few hours.

no renewing online.. go pay(5yr $130), finger printed, wait 1-3 weeks, go pick it up..

there is an extenion process u can do to extend it online. not renew it..
