Default trying to a hook wet this weekend

hey guys , brand new here. boat is in shop and has been for 4 weeks now but thats a whole nother story. my 13 year old son cant stand it any longer and we need to wet a hook. any reports or ideas about where we could get on a few fish in leevile to grand isle area without a boat. any info greatly appreciated

should be able to catch off the side of hwy 1 between Leeville and GI. Might be able to hit the surf depending on winds too

I hear you can catch solid trout and reds fishing the drain pipes off of Hwy 1 on an outgoing tide...
