Not true, when I use to trawl with my buddy we would fill the Ice Box with blown ice from the factory. It would freeze into a solid block in the ice hold and you would have to chip it with the rake or a big ice pick. It must have been some inside out shaved ice.

Well once you have shaved ice in a big pile it is a inside to out freeze but in a snoball or any smaller quantity it is a outside in freeze
