One that big can do a good bit of damage....tore the roof off of 2 camps from what I heard.

People seem to think they are harmless like a dust devil in a dusty field. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they an actual tornado that is sucking up water instead of dirt and debris like when on land?

There is no difference in tornados and waterspouts, once a waterspout touches land it's a tornado and vise versa.

There not as strong over water as it waighs more than air and dirt. But can stand a 25 ft. Bayboat up and down and clear the deck!!!! Glad I had ins!!

That pic is Buggy vegas son (Robert ) ? He owns the wakeside place . They saw the spout coming and got on the board to try and get some pics. I bet there are more than one pic hanging up at wakeside right now.
