Default Got Something Good On The Keg!

I'm sitting here waiting for the temp to rise on the Keg so I can put some swordfish steaks on to grill. I already grilled some bacon wrapped baby zucchini and smoked baby portobello mushrooms. Just having and icy(and I mean a frosty necked)Summer Ale while the temp rises. While in the yard I picked a couple of small ripe tomatoes to make a spinach and tomato salad using a friend's(Jeannie baby)homemade Cajun Red Wine vinaigrette.
It's rough being here while the wife is out of town! ;D
Ahhhhh........ gulp.........I just took a sip of frosty beer and those icy ale crystals went down so soothingly(is that a word?) It is now!

Nice! I've got some sirloin kabobs about to go on, just finished the free tour and free beer session at Parish brewing and am sipping some envie.

I saw you had some parish on a couple posts, you should save the six pack containers and come by and trade them in for swag if you do a tour - they recycle them and give you glasses and shirts depending in how many you bring.

Never know, you might have been drinking a brew out if a six pack holder that I turned back in!

Well, all I can say is that was a fantastic meal! I really amaze myself sometimes. I started with wrapping baby zucchini with bacon and dredging the baby portobellos in melted butter and sprinkling them with my Cajun seasoning.
Whew! It sure gets hot around that grill. Good th`ing I had some life saving adult pops with the foam on top to cool me down.

The baby zuchs were looking really nice!

And the baby portobellos were coming along nicely.

I let the Keg get up to about 600* to cook the swordfish hot and quick.

I seriously don't think I could have had a better meal in any restaurant tonight.

The swordfish was cooked about as perfect as it could be done!

The salad wasn't too dang shabby either with Jeanie's Cajun Red Wine dressing and a lil grated parmesan cheese.
