![]() I'm not sure that we need another LNG facility with it's associated Security Zones so close to the other two. I know this one is for export while the other two are import facilities. It will be interesting what happens at Calcasieu Pt when they shut down marine traffic 2 miles ahead and 1 mile behind the LNG vessels up and down the Calcasieu river. But what the heck, we get 45 new permanent jobs. I know I'm just a cynical old fart. |

I don't think companies willing to invest billions of dollars in our area is a bad thing.

The other 2 will be export facilities before Magnolia is even built. Both TLNG and CLNG have multi-billion dollar expansions planned for liquification processes to be added.
As far as marine traffic, Those ships will be constantly coming and going if LNG prices stay cheap domestically and high abroad. It's not going to matter that much by adding one more facility for export. |

Got to agree with you on Safety Zones. They are pain in the rear and another one next to TLNG would be really crazy to avoid. We can thank the Goverment for the one now enforced at TLNG and CLNG. Old zones of 100 feet of stucture was good but you all ways have somebody that has to tie off to something and ruin it for rest of us.
