OK, I know Terry was off doing his Florida guiding thing most of the year back before the brothers bought it. Would it have been the office manager or something making the calls on issues such as the one described?

I don't know back then but now I can tell you the brothers make these decisions and the past couple of years have been outstanding years for the company. They are not a site sponsor so I do not get anything out of this but you will not find a hard working more honest man than Kirk Stansel.

Gatortrax said a couple yrs back sounds like probably several yrs back. My brother (Jason) has been running the night stalker since they had the old boat that the hurricane destroyed. Not sure what year the brothers bought HR&G, but my knowledge of them is that they are outstanding guys and run a good business. It takes a lot to push them to the point of turning a client away unhappy.

Agreed well said and Jason does a great job on the night boat, that would not have happened had he been the captain back then.

Agree, Jason is a great guy. As you mentioned earlier- he not only does it for a job but truly loves it. He has a passion for the outdoors and he loves what he does, makes a huge difference to the clients when a guy actually cares.

Yes the Stansel's owned it when we went. Im sure it was an office manger. Very tall guy, I believe his name was Terry. REALLY tall! This was before the hurricanes. Was there first nightstalker trips, they leased the boat from Mark Thompson who owns Thompson Home Health here in Alexandria, La. I know they run a fine outfit. Im not blaming them. I know fishing is fishing. Hunting is hunting. My main issues where the guide going to sleep. (which I thought was against the law?) and 2 the guide not checking his fuel and topping it off. I dont even care about the motor breaking down. That happens. Had a lil issue with noone bringing gas though. Ill never forget that trip. My wife still wont talk about that $1200.
