Took a friend down to Big lake to check out a few spots, Had fun getting chased around by some very funky looking storms.

It was looking downright ominous around 6:30am.

We stayed up north fishing some around ellender and some in ship channel, Caught a bit of a mixed bag. Kept 5 nice sized Reds and a couple of sand trout.

Had two flounder come off right at the boat. one looked like a real nice slab to.

didn't really figure out the fish today, But the queenfish sure loved us..

ended up catching a couple dozen crabs and steaming them up for dinner tonight.

One was a bit bigger... he was downright MAD when he hit that gulp! there was no.."bite" it was just a straight reel burn... I almost lost my rod.

Was a pretty nice fight on pretty light tackle spinning outfit, I would imagine my drag washers got worn down a bit yesterday

That's wonderful! I just love hearing them strip drag and when they nearly tear the rod out if your hands...fantastic!
