Oh Longside, I am kind of the same way,,If I ask my husband to fix something in the house and he doesn't,, i will spend all day trying to show him that I CAN FIX IT MYSELF.. then I turn a $2 job into a $200 job... now he has learned,,, if something needs fixing either fix it now,, or bring it with you to work CAUSE i LOVE TO TROUBLE SHOOT LOL
I work with juvenile delinquents every day,, I have lots and lots of patients lol
