Default Boathouse/wharf builders on Big Lake

Hi everyone. First post here but I have been reading for a few weeks. My wife and I are looking at purchasing a lot on Big Lake and we are wondering about the wharfs/boathouses that we see. Any one have an idea of cost or local builders that I can get an idea on how much it adds to the cost of our purchase?

Thanks for all the great information.

Don't quote me on this but I've heard a warf will run you about $1,000 per foot. Not sure how true that is but..... Welcome to SC

Boat house with one boat stall, fish cleaning station and a small storage area will be over 30k.

I have a two boat boar house on the channel with a 120 foot pier, large cleaning station, walk down deck, fishing lights, nice storage. It's a little oversized but all in that was well over 80.

I looked around and got some prices way higher than that but decided to use superior pillings and bulkhead, the owner is Glenn.

Most at Heberts are 80-100k

They just had a camp rebuilt a wharf and it was around 90k from what I heard

Lot on water will run from 125k - 300k on location

I just had to remove and replace my bulkhead and boat house, 60' bulkhead + single boathouse = 37K. Folks that did it are called Do Rite and they did a great job, in my opinion. 337-258-3200. call if you want to talk about it.

Check with Sam Istre Construction, I know they built the new wharf at Prien 210. Tell them Danny said to call.
