Billy, make sure you aren't using the Back button. After you read the PM, click the SaltyCajun logo at the top left to back to the main forum page and you shouldn't get notified again. If that doesn't work, send me a PM with your forum password if you'd like and I can take a look for you.
EDIT: I also just added a new "Tech Support" forum for issues like this and other computer and technology related issues.
