He has to do that because you are supposed to pay first anyways. And some people try to put the boat in the park the slip in the boat on the other side without paying him. The honor system wasn't working at the ramp before that.

Maybe if they did some repairs on the ramp the honor system would start working better again.

I'm just glad I only launch Bob's boat there once a year.

There "Cajun engineering" attempt a couple of years ago to fill in the holes lasted for about a month.

There are still a few softball size rocks that were part of the rocks that were use to fill in the holes.

I must have gone there shortly after the holes were filled in. Was not too bad.....except for the small bolders everywhere.

Next trip the holes were back.
