When going threw the past which side to run an how for r the reefs when u get out

Green channel markers on your starboard or right side of the boat while you are steering . Red channel markers on your starboard side coming back in, hence the term RED, Right, Return.

X2....and a good gps,most show the channel turns. If you go off course you can go from 100 foot of water to 6" in a hurry.

Once i clear the pass I always run at least 2-3 miles in the channel before I turn right or left. Not too sure exactly how fqr the reefs go out.

ran out the pass for the 1st time wed, Stayed in the middle and made it out with no problem

I wouldnnt try that to often!! Sometimes you can do that with a high tide. But those reefs could be sitting just under the water line and you cant see them. And there goes your lower unit !!!:banghead:

When I was young my uncle borrowed a boat and didn't follow correctly we went high and dry. Thank The Lord a buddy was fishing near by and pulled us out. Good thing was we found a hole that was holding a ton of reds

Those reefs along the pass channel hold reds and some huge flounder....takes years to learn how to navigate them. The first time I ran the pass there was a few guys anchored right off the marker wade fishing in shin deep water. Looked on the depthfinder at it was 100 foot deep,blew my mind. Lol

Which card is that? That's not a map that comes with the hds, is it?

I dont have a card. Thats Str8 from the factory, pre loaded maps.
