Turkey around ville platte

Ok two part question here. 1- are there turkey around ville platte? And 2- is there such a thing as white peacock? Bear with me here. I had to run up to Alexandria this afternoon. On my way back just before the ville platte exit I see this white bird. At first it looked like a egret, but as I passed by it looked like either an albino turkey or white peacock. Wish I would of had time to turn around and snap a pic.

There are turkeys north of VP that were stocked a few years ago,to my knowledge the landowners were not supposed to hunt them for a certain amount of years think they were put out by N***.The farm that I hunt on is near that exit and had peacocks running around the last few years,they were put there by the landowner along with other exotics,however I have never seen a white one.
