Can you post a pic of the gig you use? I got some spots I've been wanting to try this at...also do you need big lights or just enough to see through the water in front of the boat?

no boat. i get in the water with a 3/8" stainless steel rod with stringer tie to top end. gig flounder, grab gig under flounder, turn gig over and flounder slides to stringer.
