Herschel is a beast! Good story...I love documentaries!
I thought it unique when he didn't even remember most of his college career.

But man, I have to say the all time legend and freak of nature was Bo Jackson!! This dude was superhuman. Baseball & football and saw playing football as a hobby. This guy was in a league of his own. Ran a 4.12 at 225lbs in the combines..did backflips while standing thigh high in water...ran up an 8ft wall after catching a fly ball so he wouldn't smash into it....would go from baseball to football and hop right into his first game and start crushing people without ever practicing and taking hits...ran smack dab over the "BOZ's" juiced up *** (BO dont know Juice!)

Check out ESPNs 30 for 30: You Don't Know Bo
This documentary will give u an in depth look at BO.

If you don't know Bo ...u dont know diddly! ;-)

When I said, IMO, Walker was the best...I said running back. He remains among the NCAA's all-time career rushing leaders and is the only one in the Top 10 with 3 years of collegiate play. About Marcus Dupree, they said, "Bigger than Earl Campbell....faster than Hershel Walker." He might have been but I saw Dupree play several times and, IMO, he was no Hershel Walker. Like Vince Dooley said, "Had Hershel played his final year at Georgia...he would have set rushing marks that would never be broken."

I saw that one on Bo. It was pretty awesome. The unbelievable part was that his career ending injury was just a simple busted blood vessel. No MRI's are anything back then so nobody knew. It cut off blood flow to his hip and it basically died. Simple fix now days. And I think they said he was the only Professional in a major sport to ever play with a major joint replacement. 2 years in baseball with a fake hip and a HR in his first at bat with that hip.

FYI - If you watch Herschel's MMA fight, the SEC - Storied piece is on you tube also so you can watch it there.
