Default Boston canal vbay. 9/28

Launced @ 800 ran down to boston canal by the rock hoping to fish but the wind was too strong to fish inside the bay so we try to anchor inside where those rocks are. Couldnt get anchor to set so we fished by those camp.

1st. cast Caught a big catfish! one nice size freshwater drum and a few rat reds the bite die down.

2nd ran back to the launched decide to stop by a canal that was running into boston, anchor and was on
3 reds back to back.. I am surprise those reds would be that far north

And my niece first red! she was very happy! I was surprise that cheap kid shakespare rod and reel held up.

All fish were caught on dead shrimp on jig head and bottom

Nice we used to catch em consistently off the intracoastal from August till the river comes back up. When we hunted by Herbert's we would catch em in our duck pond after hunts.
