A little less fisherman on the water due to hunting season.

You can fish all day without being wore out from the heat. I agree with country boy less traffic on the water is nice.

Love fall/winter fishing... Only ppl on the water fishing are the ppl who really enjoy it and understand how to respect other fisherman.

I love fall fishing more because of the lower temps.

Fall is hands down my favorite season. Partly because I am anticipating it all summer. Cooler days, when ya can feel the change in the air. I love dragging my fly rod out putting on a big bass bug, and fishing with it late into the day. Aint nothing like seeing the water explode as mr bucket mouth pounces on ya popper.

DEFINATELY the best fishing! Bay gets hot and big lake gets even hotter. I remember two great days. day 1 we launched at dugas and came into joes to pelicans busting at south cut. All 1-2lb fish as fast as you can cast. Winds picked up so we ducked of in my favorite cut and picked up20 flounder quick. Day 2 we went to bay(last yr) and came out of Quintana to birds from the cove all the way to the hammock and no one around but us we were late so we didn't get limit before dark but we had 55 in bout an hour and some change.... Oooooooh I love the fall!

Options...you can target larger trout for the majority of the day and not worry about busting because you are bound to run into a set of birds on the ride in most days.

I love fall fishing....weekends that happen to fall right after a front I will go hunting. If it falls a few days before or after a front I go fishing. Best time of the year!

Better fishing, less people, cooler. I like fishing overall better than hunting.

In the fall.....if it is cool, I hunt. If it is warm, I fish.

It does not get any better.
