Just figured I'd post this video to try and help Vudu's battle against the H2O (Academy) d'bags. Fought a big nasty bull red on a "New & Improved" purple/chart Vudu for about 8 minutes. Hook stayed strong and Vudu was in perfect condition after landing the beast. Took a pic and let her go. I like supporting the small, and local, businessman....so should you. What's the battle with Academy? They carry the Egret Bayou Chubs and Wedge tails, correct?

Yeah they do but they made a knock off version of the Vudu Shrimp called a "Mojo Shrimp" and are selling it under the H2O brand. Not really a battle but just shady business done by the big man.

Didn't vudu get theirs from a Australian company ? New hooks are good old ones are terrible.

Did anybody really think people weren't going to knock the Vudu off? Anything that's successful is going to have H&H or Academy (H2O house brand I'm assuming) or Bass Pro Shops copy and offer it at a discount a year later.

I think vudu got their design from another company.

Yep, I heard it was a design they found in the far east. Credit to them for spotting it, doing their due diligence and putting it in the market.
