My wife and myself went Monday to the mudhole. We had no problem catching our limit of crabs even culled them and help others catch theirs. The shrimp were running when we got there but when the tide died so did the shrimp. If I could've thrown a castnet half decent I'd would've had no problem getting my limit of shrimp. I guess they thinned the gators out during gator season. We didn't have any mess with us or our lines. They kept there distance and left us alone. We used chicken legs and would have. 4 at a time on our lines.

Does anyone catch crab and shrimp either at Cement Weir or LSU Weir? I'm thinking about going there in the middle of next week.
