We left the Fiesta headed to Holly Beach. I was almost out of town when I saw a line of cars heading East. I figured they was all getting off the ferry and didn't want to miss it, so I stepped on the gas.
Next thing I know, one of Cameron's finest has his lights on me. I pulled over and he hollered to get out of the car and put my hands on the hood. I can't hear too good, so I asked my wife what he said. She repeated it to me with some fear in her eyes. She thought I was going to the slammer.
I got out and it was a guy I went to school with. He didn't recognize the car, it was her first time to drive down there in it. He said he clocked me speeding thru town and when he pulled out and put the lights on me, I took off. I didn't see the lights, all I saw was the cars from the ferry passing by.
We missed the ferry so I went back to the Fiesta and drank a few beers until the ferry came back.
No ticket.

The good old Fiesta club. Had some good times in there during the Fur Festival.
