We were strictly shovels n buckets n ladders. I remember when I was in 2nd grade n lived in Texas , it was kinda cold out n my mom said something about wishing we had fire wood. So we lived in a neighborhood , not out in the sticks or anything . Me n my cousin found my dads hatchet and pulled our wagon down the street until we found our tree ( victim) . Found a white birch tree n hacked on that s o b for hours until it crashed down ( it was in a vacant house that was for sale backyard)!!!! Layed it on the wagon n drug it home... I got my azz whipped real good for that one then had to call the realtor n tell her what we did.

Anyways we were always getting into some crap , getting dirty , tearing our clothes, catching and killing stuff. Now a days these kids are pusified!

Well we never had to worry about fire wood, we had 2o million pine trees and one would get struck my lighting every storm!

During Christmas break we keep a fire burning none stop!

In about 10 years people will be saying their favorite childhood toys are "W" action figures (with the figure 8 motion ) and his arch nemesis. " SlickFish".
