Composite bats can break in temperatures below 60 degrees. A couple of swings on a $300 Mako with temperatures this low and that bat is done. The rain of course isn't fun either but we usually just deal with that. Hackberry High School has a cage with a roof that we use all of the time but that won't help with the temperature issue.

Thanks anyway guys, guess we will head to Beaumont at some point. I am really surprised, I know this area puts out a ton of talent and select ball tournaments are very common in the area.
