Reloading is easy and much cheaper to start than that. It is just a process no black magic. I have a Lee classic turrent press which cost less than $150 with a primer kit. You can by a Lee Single Stage press for around $25. (I use a lot of Lee equipment. It's not too expensive and does the job. Some people HAVE to have whatever other brand they use. It's all personal preference) Then you need the dies for the caliber your going to load for. Around $30 for a set for the Lee Carbide pistol dies (they come with a dipper for powder) if you shop around. You can buy used for cheaper they don't wear out if you take care of them. I'd recommend a good reloading manual with loads etc but you can get that info on the web. TONS of videos on YouTube.

I don't really count the cases, powder, bullets and primers as they are consumables.

Now once you start reloading you will buy other things. I own several presses, case cleaners, powder scales, lots and lots of dies, decappers, etc etc etc. None of this stuff is necessary to reload other than the additional dies, just like a tackle box full of lures is not necessary to fish.
