I have the #5 for the house. No real complaints other than you can bog it down if you load it to fast. Works just fine for what little grinding I do around the house. We use a #32 when we make sausage but that usually 500-700lbs at a time. I think it will grind a Volkswagen if you could slide it down the throat.

A #12 would be a good choice if you want to get into sausage making. Easy on the wallet and more than adequate for grinding a deer.
