To the point now.
Got home from work this evening, walked in the kitchen and our son is jamming on his ipod to Roy Orbison. How many 15 years olds know who Roy Orbison is much less like his music?
I did inform him that jamming to Roy on his senior prom may decrease his chances of scoring. He'll bring his Percy Sledge and Conway Twitty cd's then.lol
My children rolled into the room right after I opened your post, so I read it to them. My wife disagreed with your assessment, saying something like, "What lady woundn't like 'Pretty Woman'?"

My children had started asking "Who is Roy Orbison?" and "What is 'Pretty Woman'?" Recognizing that I'd been remiss in my children's cultural education, I immediately surfed over to YouTube and put on the song as loud as my computer will go. My children were soon elatedly dancing around the room. It was the beginning of a jam session for sure!

Great music is timeless.
