Default Cold Weather
So what is the bird count? We finally get cold arctic blast weather for a few strong days and nobody is posting any bird reports? Everybody always complains about the weather and it never gets cold to push ducks down and yadda yadda... So whats the deal?

We got birds in Holly Beach. We do well all season but never have birds actually sit/roost in our marsh till now.

Lots of new birds in Kaplan area. Saw plenty Sunday in thornwell. Also Solid reports coming out of the marsh in vbay area. Going there in the morning.

I've heard solid reports coming out of the marsh in Boston, haven't seen it for myself yet. Stuck at work all week. So I don't know how true it is till this weekend.

Here several from Monday (4 man limit) and Tuesday ( 3 man limit) in the Ice.. South of Henry, near V-Bay..

It WAS COLD AS A WITCHES TIT.....

My cold weather gear is awesome.. But when I had to put my freezing cold BUTT STOCK TO MY CHEEK TO SIGHT The Gun.. Damn...

Monday with that Wind it was SO FRIGGING COLLLLDDDDDD.. Yesterday was a walk in the park with no wind..

Beaches and oxbows ain't gone freeze. My guess it they holding there until tonight and tom south wind and back to duck whackin we will go. Just an opinion idk for sure. We will c tom.
