My comment was that he said HE caught and boxed 9 redfish. Big difference between getting checked on the water and you have 10 fish with 2 guys, and coming on the internet and saying that YOU caught 9 of the 10 reds, and then detailing how the guy caught 1 and there was the 10 fish limit.

I'm not saying the guy is going to go to jail over it, but get one of those GWs that patrols the web and finds that, he might at least catch some flack over it. Hell, the judge would probably call it circumstantial, but who knows? If you can't prove otherwise. Just like my buddy and the 2 bucks. If he couldn't have proved that other deer wasn't his, what would have happened?

The fact is, You are 100% right about a GW never asking who's fish are who's. Yeah, I just agreed with "W". Ain't that a kick in the head? But I never argued that you were wrong about GWs checking on the water, either. Go back and find where I did, and I will gladly admit it.
He didn't have to prove ****. Burden of proof lies with the state. Tell ole green jeans to prove I killed/caught over my limit from a pic on facebook or G T F O. By your reasoning, anytime someone post a pic of their take, they better have their license in hand to prove that it was legal.

Ok, guess I should have been a little clearer. The trouble would have got a lot deeper if he couldn't have proved right then and there that he didn't kill both deer. I agree, it falls on the state to prove a person's guilt, but you can save yourself a lot of trouble if you can prove right then and there that you didn't break the law. If my buddy hadn't had all the text messages and pictures from his buddy, he probably would have been in handcuffs in the back of the truck.

That's not what I meant at all. I was just trying to make a point that if they have any reasonable doubt, they COULD come after you. Not that they will, but they COULD. They had reasonable doubt that my buddy had killed 2 bucks, so they came a'lookin for him. He was able to prove that it was just an unfortunate picture, that he did not kill both.

That Mike Tyson picture is killing me, especially because I just watched Hangover Part II last night. :*****:

Why the hell do they have the little smiley killing himself laughing, if I can't use it?!?!?!
