Default Just Sad

Lost a senior from our high school on Friday. Complications from the flu. I didn't know him or his family but I have not been able to stop thinking about it. I look at our son and couldn't imagine my life without him. It makes my heart heavy thinking of what his parents must be going through. I just cant imagine loosing something so precious.

Man, I could not imagine.

Going thru things right now with mom is tough, but we know it's coming... there isn't any "surprise" involved.

I could not even imagine the grief that family must be going through.

I have heard of at least five or 6 people getting killed by the flu this year in the area. Been a bad deal all season. That poor kid.

That's a tough one! One of my insurance adjusters lost his 18 yr old son last year to cancer and, I can tell you that it has waged hell on him since.

God Bless this family you speak of.

We as Americans are so busy with our day to day life. we ( my self also) take things such as kids and our wifes for granted . Times like this is a time we all need to reflect back on the blessings the lord has given us. I wouldnt be able to fuction for a long time if something such as this where to happen to my lil family. Just think about the Sandy Hook parents and how devastating that must have been. A bunch of kindergardeners/ babys still in my eyes . it just hurts my heart think of such!

Guys, losing a child is by far the most difficult thing I have ever been through in life. I lost my son and namesake on Oct. 27, 2013. If not for the strength God has given me, I don't know how I would cope with day to day life. As a mortician I deal with others people grief. But this shook me to my core and now I understand what people go through. I have visited his gravesite everyday since we buried him. I think of all the dreams and hope for life that is contained in that tomb. But the grave holds no victory over life. I pray for the parents of that young man also and hope they find the comfort only God can give you. God Bless.

Words will never say enough!
He was and still is in spirit a very unique and heroic man to serve for this country, and for our freedom!
It saddens me to the core to even fathom the thought of the pain and torment you and your loved ones have and still go through.
Stay strong sir, a hero like your son would want your chin held high just like he was thought to do!
Prayers sent your way!
