just remember this site is being monitored by high profile lawyers waiting to pull information off of this site to use against you in court.

We are not going to discuss that old thread. I'm sure this is a troll attempt but that being said if you guys want to discuss pole barns and give opinions then I am all for it but lets keep personal comments out of the thread.

I am also intrested in a pole barn for some land I have in Hackberry so I am interested to see what people have to say.

I had Mallet put up a 30x40 with 12' eave height and 2 roll up doors (10' and 8' wide). I got the premium building package with colored metal, all treated boards, post protectors, skirt board protectors, fascia, and rat guard. Paid $10,500 for just the installed building and I did the concrete myself for another $2,000. (They wanted about $5k difference to do the concrete)

I have since added an additional 24' on the end of the building so my building now is 30'x64' with that last 24' being just a roof to park my camper and boat under.

This was in 2008 so the prices may be a little higher now. I did not price around very much when I put mine up because I was happy with the price that I got.

Well here I go!
I had mallet installed some time ago, maybe an isolated experience however, lots of issues with workmanship, they had a bad crew to help them catch up not a normal crew so can't commnent on what normal workman ship is, overall shop is nice and is posted on mallet web site. They made right on the issues I had, but still had some issues with doors called them on it and I was accused of doing the damage, but they sent someone out to look at it.
I left it at that but I did not do the damage but hey I was sent some touch up paint. I hope move from that house soon anyway, and will build another, would have a tough time re-committing to another pole barn, but who knows, need something to store a nice boat and other stuff in.

I had 2 roll up doors so i just had the trucks back up to the doors... A friend had jitterbug and bull float and i bought the beer... I got the fiber added so that made it a little tougher but still not too bad.

I added wire at both roll up doors for extra strength
