Just once, if I remember correctly. Late Spring 2012. W and his other buddy that day demonstrated tremendous skill working artificial baits somewhere in the neighborhood of long point. I think W swung by the weirs on the way back to Heberts hoping my meager skills could boat a couple of redfish with a Gulp on a jig head.

I must be more of a live bait/dead shrimp/cut mullet/cracked crab kind of a guy.

W is a great guy and I learned a lot from him about parts of Big Lake that I had never fished before.

No doubt about him being a good guy and teaching people.
