I'm not sure of your bay system, or how you fish, but it seems if you only have one the size of what was caught today of many that you might want to do a 180 deg. Turn on your strategies!
One thing to remember in order to catch trophy fish you must be in trophy fish territory!
man, i hear what you're sayin. i make 3-4 trips a year to Baffin and haven't caught a really big trout yet. lots of numbers, but no weight. i get home and hear or read about about a monster caught in the same area i was fishin. i hate to *****, but dang. guess i'll just keep my nose to the grindstone and hope it all pans out.

Not all, but most won't tell exactly where trophy fish are cought!
That being said some of what your told and read may be fibs!

I'm guilty of it. I'm glad to put people on numbers of fish, but only a select few sit in my best deer stands and fish my hog holes!
