I've learned that you have to treat big trout fishing like trophy whitetail hunting. Some days you aren't gonna catch crap. Not a bite. Might only get one bite. But that's what I want. That one big bite. Now you can go to a different hole and sling pickles all day, like shooting the first deer you see. I start slinging pickles, I'm moving. No knocking that, it's just not what I'm into.
