Sat in on an interesting discussion today about sanctions against Russia.
There are a few things the USA can do, Freeze assets. Cut food shipments and convince our allies to do the same.
If and when the USA does that russia can retaliate by cutting off oil and gas shipments to the E.U. .
If they do that then opec can sell their oil to the E.U. for the same or more $$$ than they sell it to us for ,w/o shipping cost . So now we have in a round about way cut off a major portion of our own oil supply.
